Dr. Austin Mautner grew up in Pembroke Pines, FL where he chose to follow in his father’s footsteps as a general dentist. After graduating with honors in Human Nutrition from the University of Florida he went on to receive his doctorate from UF College of Dentistry. While there, he received the award for Clinical Excellence and Professionalism as well as organized and attended annual mission trips to the Dominican Republic to perform pro bono dental surgery.
Dr. Mautner is a recipient of the Fellowship of the Academy of General Dentistry Award. He was one of only 10 recipients in the state of Florida in 2013. This award is given to a select few general dentist who have displayed a dedication to continued education, are in good standing with the board of dentistry, and have passed a rigorous multi-specialty exam. He is now working on his Mastership of the Academy of General Dentistry.
He has received extensive training in implant dentistry, root canal therapy, periodontal surgery, aesthetic/reconstructive dentistry, orthodontics (both traditional and Invisalign™), and snoring and sleep apnea.
His passion for comprehensive knowledge and superior treatment is backed by a warm and personable nature. Dr. Mautner’s mission is to help his patients build confidence in themselves and become as happy and healthy as possible. When not focused on dentistry he maintains a healthy mix of hobbies including woodworking, dirt biking, fishing, traveling, canoeing, paddle boarding, freediving, and most passionately, surfing.
