Dr. Austin Mautner is a second generation dentist and FL native. He grew up in Pembroke Pines, FL where he chose to follow in his father’s footsteps as a general dentist. After graduating with honors in Human Nutrition from the University of Florida he went on to receive his doctorate from UF College of Dentistry. While there, he received the award for Clinical Excellence and Professionalism as well as organized and attended annual mission trips to the Dominican Republic to perform pro bono dental surgery.

Dr. Mautner is a recipient of the Fellowship of the Academy of General Dentistry Award. He was one of only 10 recipients in the state of Florida in 2013. This award is given to a select few general dentist who have displayed a dedication to continued education, are in good standing with the board of dentistry, and have passed a rigorous multi-specialty exam. He is now working on his Mastership of the Academy of General Dentistry.  He has received extensive training in implant dentistry, root canal therapy, periodontal surgery, aesthetic/reconstructive dentistry, orthodontics (both traditional and Invisalign™), and snoring and sleep apnea.

His passion for comprehensive knowledge and superior treatment is backed by a warm and personable nature. Dr. Mautner’s mission is to help his patients build confidence in themselves and become as happy and healthy as possible.

He lives in Jupiter Farms with his wife, Tonya, and two children, Morgan and Dylan. When not focused on dentistry, he maintains a healthy mix of hobbies including surfing, woodworking, fishing, dirt biking, freediving, and most importantly trying to be a “cool” dad.

Shannon is the practice manager at Riverbend Family Dentistry. She has 15 years of experience in the dental field and has worked in essentially every dental office position from dental assistant, insurance coordinator, treatment coordinator, and as of most recently practice manager. She is one of the original team members that joined the Riverbend team as front office administrator when we opened in 2017, and she was promoted to practice manager in 2020.  She studied at Monroe County Community College and Eastern Michigan University. Shannon is originally from Michigan and relocated to south Florida in 2013 to be closer to her sister. In her spare time she enjoys: working out, reading, anything outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

Having grown up in Wellington, Dr. Richard Heinl learned and loved the equestrian, rural and South Florida lifestyle. Finding a passion for hands on work, he found general dentistry as a possible option to serve his talents. Graduating from Florida Atlantic University with his Bachelors in Biology and his Masters in Biomedical Sciences, he was accepted to the School of Dental Medicine at SUNY at Buffalo. While attending, he received multiple awards for clinical and scholastic excellence. He also traveled across the United States and to Senegal in Africa to provide dentistry to those in need. Desiring to further establish and advance his skills in dentistry, he completed a general residency program at the Montefiore Medical Center Centennial site where he focused on advanced reconstructive cases and aesthetic dentistry.

Recognizing the rapidly changing nature of dentistry and medicine, Dr. Heinl is involved in multiple professional organizations. He is currently a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and Academy of Laser Dentistry. He is currently seeking to earn his fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.

One of Dr. Heinl’s top priorities is making sure that his patients enjoy their experiences with him. He leverages his extensive training and knowledge to allow his patients to achieve the health and aesthetics that they desire. When not working with patients, Dr. Heinl enjoys a variety of pursuits including traveling, cooking, line dancing, and in general enjoying all opportunities life is generous in providing.

Taylor is a treament coordinator at Riverbend Family Dentistry. She is a graduate of the Dental Assisting Academy of the Palm Beaches and enjoys learning more about the dental field everyday. Taylor joined our team in 2019 as scheduling coordinator and was promoted to treatment coordinator in 2020. Taylor is originally from Long Island, New York, but has spent half her life living in Palm Beach Gardens. She enjoys spending her time off working out, traveling, hanging out with her family, dog, and friends.

Katie is a scheduling coordinator at Riverbend Family Dentistry. She has her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from the University of South Florida. She enjoys learning about the dental industry as she works towards becoming a dental hygienist. Katie is originally from Lake County Florida and relocated to Jupiter for her career in 2018. In her free time, Katie enjoys boating, crafting, watching movies and spending quality time with her family, friends and dogs.

Dr. Bevans was born and raised in Calgary Alberta Canada and moved to Arizona in high school. He played basketball and volleyball in high school and later went on to play for one year in college. He served a full-time mission in NE Italy, and upon returning completed his pre-dental undergraduate studies at Arizona State University. He then attended and graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 2008.

Dr. Bevans learned from years of working with his father the value of hard work and treating people well.  As a new graduate, he had the opportunity to work for a skilled dentist who mentored him in hard and soft tissue laser therapy, cosmetic dentistry, and Invisalign.  He later found an opportunity to buy a successful and busy practice in Colorado Springs where he had three partners proficient in oral surgery and endodontics who helped him become proficient at those areas of dentistry. Dr. Bevans is trained to do neuroinhibitors (such as Botox), dermal fillers, radiofrequency, and IPL as adjunctive cosmetic and therapeutic procedures. Dr. Bevans has spent the latter half of his career learning these cutting-edge procedures to help patients look and feel their best. He is a national trainer for Denta-Spa seminars, helping other dentists all over the country to learn these procedures to enhance their dental practice and care for patients. He is a member and faculty of the International Academy of Facial Esthetics and a member of Crown Council, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Bevans relocated to Jupiter Farms in 2020. He is the proud father of 7 children (yes, 7!) and his family enjoys an active and healthy lifestyle as well as traveling to experience new places and cultures. Dr. Bevans takes great pride in being a very gentle and compassionate dentist who is well equipped to provide detailed and exceptional patient care. He was elated to join Riverbend Family Dentistry to find joy in his career and to help the wonderful patients in this amazing slice of Florida.

Tonya is the marketing coordinator at Riverbend Family Dentistry. She has 10 years of experience in online marketing and communications. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire. Tonya is born and raised in a small town in New Hampshire, and moved to South Florida in 2013. She is happiest doing anything outdoors (especially camping and hiking), traveling, fitness, and collecting sea glass.

Brie is a dental hygienist at Riverbend Family Dentistry, and she has been part of the Riverbend team since the office opened in 2017. She is a Certified Registered Dental Hygienist and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Palm Beach State College with an Associates in Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. Brie is an advocate for oral health starting with prevention of oral infections by teaching patients proper techniques specific to their individual needs. She is passionate about helping others and believes it is the best part of her job. Brie is a Florida native, born and raised in Palm Beach Gardens. Family is very important to her and she is a proud mom of two sons. Photography is one of her favorite things and she can’t live without music or the beach.

Hilary is a dental hygienist at Riverbend Family Dentistry. She is a Certified Registered Dental Hygienist and graduated from Palm Beach State College with an Associates in Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. Hilary was born and raised here in Jupiter. In her free time, you will find her somewhere outdoors hunting and fishing.

Eleni is a dental hygienist at Riverbend Family Dentistry. She is a Certified Registered Dental Hygienist who graduated from CUNY New York City College of Technology in 2017 with an Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene.  She continued her education to receive her Bachelors of Science in Health Services Administration in 2019 before relocating to Florida. She is originally from Astoria, New York and enjoys traveling to Greece to visit her family, explore the beautiful islands and stay connected to her roots. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, sketching, swimming and spending time with her family and friends.

Marissa is a Registered Dental Hygienist at Riverbend Family Dentistry. She graduated from The University of New England with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. After growing up in Maine, Marissa decided to chase after the warmth and sunshine Florida has to offer in 2015. During her free time, she loves hanging out with friends, family, and her 12 pets in Port Saint Lucie.

Tiffany is a lead dental assistant at Riverbend Family Dentistry. She graduated in 2011 from Charlotte Technical College as a Certified Dental Assistant. Since starting in the dental field, Tiffany has found her true passion. She eagerly continues to further her knowledge in dentistry and aspires to make patients comfortable and happy with their experience. Tiffany is a Florida Native and loves spending time at the beach and theme parks. She is also a mom of 2 girls. When not outdoors she enjoys movies and hanging out with “framily”.

Rachel is a dental assistant at Riverbend Family Dentistry. She graduated from Dental Assisting Academy of the Palm Beaches in October 2018. She knew in the 7th grade that she wanted to be in the dental field, and she’s happy to be fulfilling those dreams. Her favorite thing about her job is meeting new people and helping patients achieve their best smile! Rachel is a Florida native, born and raised in Vero Beach and now resides in West Palm Beach. In her free time, she enjoys spending time on the boat, cooking, and traveling to new places!

Gabbi is a dental assistant at Riverbend Family Dentistry.  She completed her externship hours at Riverbend Family Dentistry, and joined the team full-time after graduating from the Dental Assisting Academy of the Palm Beaches in September 2020.  Gabbi was born and raised in North Carolina and currently resides in Port St. Lucie. When she’s not working you can find her at the beach or on her family’s boat.

Bianca is a dental assistant at Riverbend Family Dentistry.  She graduated from Dental Assisting Academy of the Palm Beaches in May 2019.  She has always loved the dental field and she strives to make patients feel comfortable and at ease.  Achieving patients’ dream smiles and helping them improve their oral health is what she loves most about her job.  Bianca was born and raised in West Palm Beach. When she’s not working, she enjoys fishing, hunting, shopping, and spending time with her family.

Cameron is a dental assistant at Riverbend Family Dentistry. She is a graduate of the Dental Assisting Academy of the Palm Beaches and enjoys learning more and more each day about dentistry. She is originally from Long Island, NY but now resides in Palm Beach Gardens. Cameron enjoys putting a smile on people’s faces as well as going to the beach, reading books, and spending her time with family and friends.
